I think it is okay to instigate conversation to get to know the guy. But, The male "species" (sorry men, you are one of your own, :laugh:) are hunters. They were made that way. So, I don't agree with the "making the first move." Conversation is different, but don't hit on the guy haha. But that is just my opinion. Hey, if it works, go for it. Posted : 16 Oct, 2009 03:29 AM i'm not gonna lie, jumpshigh, when i first heard of the concept of guys being the hunters, i thought it was just one more excuse for women not to lift a finger to try and make a relationship work or see the good in you, but now i get it and think it is excellent. except it's more like fishing than hunting. It was the only way, since not having a dad around, that my mom could explain to me how to NOT be the pursuer...Like looking doesn't hurt lol, but not to initiate EVERYTHING you know? When the girl does it first it's kind of refreshing, but I never expect it and always depend on myself to make first contact. But the question of SHOULD the girl make the first move?
