Posted : 28 Nov, 2012 04:15 PM Ladies and gentleman whenever you see your opposite sex let your first impression be the truth that they are an asset of God. If they are an asset of God and you really fear and love God, then how you feel,think,react or interact will be Godly. If as a gentleman you see ladies exposing seductive parts of their body and you begin to feel uncomfortable,the Godly alarm in you must sound out the covenant with your eyes and with God and you also bear in mind who or what they are capable of doing to bring your downfall. There are some people who fear to get close to the opposite sex far more to be friends with them all because they are afraid they will fall into the peril of lust.The truth is if you have the spirit of lust in you,the enemy will always create a magnetic force to attract those magnetic materials wherever you find yourself. Therefore instead of having such a mindset ask God to take away that spirit of lust in you because the devil will always come and if he still find that lustful feeling in you he will keep striking that nail till it goes deep into you to destroy you.The truth is it is not the issue of how lustful someone portrays themselves to you but your ability to have allowed God to deal with what is in you. If God has dealt with that lust in you the enemy will try but will never succeed because he comes and finds it no more in you.The issue is many are running away from the trouble in them but are not fighting it away.You can run but you cannot hide until you hide yourself in life. If you chase your opposite sex for pleasure you are chasing Hell.If you chase God and His pleasure ,He will allow everything to chase you.For when you are chasing God you are delighting yourself in Him and His kingdom and he shall grant you your delightful Godly desires.Your desires are never in the best position of goodness when they are not in connection to the delight-fulness of God. The reason for most children of God falling in the trap of the enemy is that they follow their desires at the genesis of finding someone whom they see as Godly,as fine,as attractive as they are meanwhile they are not fully grounded in doing what God wants them to do. If you really believe that God has someone special for you, and you put all your trust in Him,His grace will sustain you no matter how long it takes and you will keep living a chaste life so that you don't demoralize yourself as well as your belief in God till you get to His appointed time for His chosen one for you. Don't be deceived by thinking the if you don't catch them young you won't get them again,or Jesus is coming soon so you have to get married quick.God himself will send you the Green-light as you become intimate with Him and he will guide you to meet *Mrs Right or Missing Rib* Instead of chasing after Mr or Mrs Right,Chase after God because He knows you,as a man and your missing rib more than you think you know yourself. Posted : 16 Dec, 2012 10:22 AM @IamGodsPrincess, considering that verse you quoted in Hebrews 10:24-25 "And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching." One thing came to mind, if the days are approaching, then one of the remedy of doing this and making it through all these approaching will be for us as believers to get together the more and share in truth and sincerity by drawing strength from each other as the Lord is the anchor for our souls!
