Some parting words!

This is mostly for the guys, since I don't have much experience as a woman:winksmile:. Just remember boys...our job is to be selfless/humble/meek...Christlike. I guess that goes for the ladies too! But really, trying to follow that path brings so much inner-peace/strength/confidence, and trying to follow that path reveals to us who our God is and what He does for us. I can't recommend it enough. It's one thing to read the bible and have an academic knowledge of what Jesus is like, but the christian walk is about taking that knowledge and changing into His likeness, and even if our attempts are weak/feeble, those are the first steps we should be taking. Build a relationship with God first, and you'll be ready for any human relationship that comes your way.

Speaking of relationships, we have hit the one year mark and it's time to move along! Keep us in your prayers, we've got a long way to go!:prayingm::hearts: Although, it's actually been getting better as we go, so that must be a good sign, eh? Later guys! Keep the faith!

:peace::peace:

Why do you have to go?

*tear rolling down cheek*

Seriously, can't you stick around for our sake? Siylii should know that no other woman has what it takes to steal you away!

OK, serious for real...

I am going to miss you. Your posts even in the midst of disagreement have always been fair, honest, balanced, tempered with love and understanding.and intellectually honest. I have appreciated that about you, because as you know, although my posts are intellectually honest they are not meant to bring peace, but meant to bring the deep to the surface. I say this because we all have different gifts and your gifts are going to be greatly missed. It has been a pleasure getting to know you and Siylii on this forum. I believe you have truly tried to exemplify Christ in your posts.

Wishing and Hoping the best for you and Siylii in Christ.

And remember it takes a real man to stay married to a red head, they are passionate, opinionated, and good looking so they attract the attention of other men. However, from what I have seen, I think you are the right man for the job!

Yep, I am headed out as well as everyone has already assumed. DHTM and I both think we are each at a place where we have reaped the benefits of CDFF and that it is now time to concentrate on what is at hand in our lives.

My own parting advice would be, as usual, exactly what he said, and that in itself is my advice to the ladies in particular. Do not compromise on what you expect of a man: if we are to one day do our duty as wives, it only makes sense to seek out a man with whom we would be comfortable submitting. While disagreements are of the course, having an understanding of each other and coming to agreements on significant issues will help cultivate stability. I am not saying that my own relationship is ironclad, but it is a darn sight better than any Ive ever been in before, and our seeing eye-to-eye on basic issues is enormously beneficial.

Thank you so much everybody for your loving words and correspondence over the months!
