recently my X wife has been sending me some messages.

She must be feeling guilty.

she says how sorry she is.

How handsome I am.

How things were so good with me.

Why did she leave then?????

Hmmmmmm.

That door has been closed. I moved on.Dennis

You snooze, you lose lady. Don't be thinkin' you can run off on Dennis and then run right back when you realize what you're missing!

To me this is one more example of someone who thought they could get someone 'better' and left. Then..... they found out that they really didn't have it so bad after all.

I had something similar happen just recently with someone I dated. He had treated me poorly and in an un-Christian way, then tried to worm his way back in. Nope. If you don't want to work on a dating relationship, and talk about differences and work them out --- you are not someone I would consider marrying. I, too, have moved on. Unless you see true repentence and change of heart...... don't look back, Dennis.

Well, I wouldn't be quite as bold as TwoSparrows, but he has the matter correct. People get lonely around the holidays.

Yes, she is realizing she lost a good man, that's what I'm thinking? Good for you that you moved on!! :applause:

We have to look forward and not back!! A friend said to me once there's a reason he's in your past and not in your present!!! So true!!

At least Dennis got some messages from her. When my "Eternal Sweetheart" left me one day all of a sudden after 6 years I have heard virtually nothing from her since. I treated this lady like a Queen and loved her so much. Losing my Mom at the age of 4 (I saw the bloddy accident happen) was hard enough and damaged my heart, then losing my sweetheart finished the job. Her name was Kim and she was the light of my life. Now here I am at 54 with no family and fiancee!

I'm lost & Confused!
