Should I pursue thisPosted : 30 Sep, 2024 07:36 PMI got to thinking recently about wanting to get married. It is a goal of mine, especially at my age. I told my mom recently that I won't meet anybody like it won't happen for me. She said that's not true, you might meet someone. She is even saving her wedding gown and I feel so stupid for not getting married by now. |

Should I pursue thisPosted : 1 Oct, 2024 09:40 AMI will proceed with caution but the first conversation yesterday he mentioned, "as a future gf/wife we will be exchanging messages on Facebook," "if you choose me, you will like me," "I like you," "I want to pursue you," etc. All things he said to me but we didn't once get to have an actual conversation yet. I told him it was off-putting and he said "simply being intentional, Christian women like that." Know nothing about him, plus he wants me to add him on Facebook! Am I weird or is he the weird one? |

Should I pursue thisPosted : 1 Oct, 2024 08:08 PMWelcome back Handyman! I'm glad you are back from the dead. It appears you have been less active here. You must have had some better things to do. |

Should I pursue thisPosted : 2 Oct, 2024 07:00 AMHazelEyesSparkle I'm curious to know how in just a short time you know he's not your type? I will admit that it's a possibility he's a scammer but to almost immediately say "he's good looking but not my type" is the type of mindset that will likely keep you single and unmarried. |

Should I pursue thisPosted : 2 Oct, 2024 10:08 AMThank you for the advice! But he kept saying "I like you" as the first message, then said "if you choose me, you won't be disappointed," "now as my gf/wife, we are going to talk on Facebook," etc. Wow! It was just too mucn then made a comment about how "Christian women like that kind of stuff." And he was completely disregarding every response I was giving |

Should I pursue thisPosted : 2 Oct, 2024 01:24 PMGot to agree with Handyman there. But got to agree with HazelEyesSparkle as well. Sounds a little fishy in his word. It is just an exchange of words now. More correspondences do not last long. See if he is good in his word replies. |
