How is this different from just feeling love for someone in a special way?

What are your experiences with this and other degrees of the feelings of love?

Love, Steve

I don't think I've ever felt that way for someone. There was a boy in college that I really really really really liked and I thought I was falling in love with him and him with me; he called himself Shmitty because he was "smitten for Stan" (Stan was my nickname). I followed him everywhere, and invited him to just about everything I did. And I almost failed my Linguistics class because I payed more attention to him than I did to the teacher and the homework (but I was never good with the hw anyways). He was the best guy friend I had ever had.

But then a "better" girl came along, and they're getting married in a few weeks.

Katie,

I'm so sorry that that happened to you.

That must have been a terrible thing to experience.

Others here, myself included will be praying that God would keep you through this.

Sincerely,

Max

I was talking to my friend about this today and I told her that I didn't think I would ever get married because there is always a "better" girl and she told me that I just need to change my thinking. She said that there will always be a better girl because I am looking for a better guy.
