I'd love to be able to reply to your request "please correct me if I'm wrong" by saying that it isn't the case, but I believe in being realistic. I've noticed many profiles in which the preferred age range begins around 18 or 25 ... and that is for someone who themselves is 50-55. Judging by your post, I'm sure that you've noticed all of that as well, but I feel for you- as I sense your despair of the situation in what you've written. So, I'd like to encourage you to not allow yourself to be disheartened by it. Even though the multitudes of men in our age group may search for someone 20, or even 30 years younger ... let your focus remain on God- who is more than able to bless your life with the 1 man who is looking for you. :) Post Reply

You're totally going to find an amazing man who loves you, and thinks you're more beautiful than any girl half his age. Someone who appreciates you, and is Godly and wants to do right by you, godwilling! Do not give up hope or think it's impossible. There are a lot of amazing, sweet Godly men out there, they -ARE- out there. Pray about it, ask the Lord to open and shut doors for you, in your life. And I -will- pray for you! It is a joyous thing for a man to have a virtuous, kind and loving woman, there are men who do appreciate the beauty of someone older, more mature in the Lord and the person's inner beauty. I've seen men on the forums and various men on the site that really do want someone in their own age range! Dating younger to them just feels wrong, and they want someone who is older, and knows more about things, and has had experiences. Again, don't think it's hard or impossible, it can be discouraging sometimes, but there really is some gentle, loving and strong men out there. Rachel Post Reply

It means so much to me to have wonderful Christian women to talk to. I've been lonely for quite awhile. I'm trying hard to begin a new chapter in my life as The Lord leads me. This coming week will be difficult as it's coming up on the 1 year anniversary of my husband's passing on 4/28/2010. Thank you for your comforting word and prayers. May God bless you. View Profile History	Older Women and Dating Sites Posted : 23 Apr, 2011 04:08 PM I'm open to a woman around my age (including up to 3-5yrs older), but the problem is a lot of women my age have now got baggage such as divorces, children, etc. which complicates things - that's why I also look at younger women though I haven't a snowball's chance with them!
