Some people have a type or preference as to what they find attractive in the opposite gender. As for my self I have dated men that were very different from one to the other. It was there personality that drew me to them and the attraction to the exterior happened after.

If I was to go on looks/ body along my preference would not be a body building type of look. Apart from not really finding that look attractive it also requires a lot of work to maintain. My brother was into body building and it's a full time job.

I would take a bit of a belly and a loving sweet heart over what is perceived as perfection any day. Also flaws can make the person special. Like crooked teeth, scares, what ever sets them apart.

It's not the exterior that attracts me to someone. It's what is on the inside and their heart that attracts me!!!

I do like a six pack and a little muscle, not rocks that you can't lay your head on and feel somewhat of a pillow.

Having said that, it is what is in the heart that counts and I would always go with that choice. If the guy overeats and does not even try to keep himself within 10 or 15 pounds of his normal weight? That is a turn off for me because of the way God tells us to treat our temples. Balance is the key.

Vanity is ugly, too~ Most bodybuilders are in love with the man in the mirror.

Definintly attracted to muscle

(this girl scout just can't lie)

But not body builder~and there is a difference.

Having raised boys that were all into weight training at some point and an ex that never lifted a finger to take care of himself...guess it really appeals to me for someone to want to look good (especially if it was for me :hearts: )

Course online, you can't tell what a person's heart is, so being honest, you are looking...gotta start somewhere. which leads me to another question, so I will put it in "ask a guy"

I'm not attracted to the body builder type. It's the complete opposite. I'm turned off by the type.

I have a distinct preference that the guy can carry the toilet outside and load it in the back of the truck when replacing. The same goes for replacing the water heater. I thought those two things were going to kill me before I got them outside. And man did my body tell me about it the next day. So, muscles would be very much appreciated. We all need an outlet and some free time, so his were body building, I could see the positive side and would definitely appreciate and use those muscles.

As far as caring if a guy is solid muscle or has some padding here and there, nope. So many things are much more important: soul, spirit, mind, heart, and the list could go on in perpetuity. :)

Elisa you crack me UP, girl!!

I'm right there with 'ya, though. Muscles = Yes. Body Builder = No A body builder has to spend too much time on his body, and I'm not attracted to someone who spends that much time on himself.

Not really. I like outdoorsy types, but I'm not going to be lifting weights myself, so I don't expect a man to. I like what Elisa and Godslamb said.
