Then, one gentleman brought a lovely little bouquet. It wasn't so large or expensive that it creeped me out. However, the thought was so sweet. And to add to the wow factor, since we were meeting at a restaurant, he brought the flowers in a glass vase. Post Reply

I've never ever had a guy give me flowers. But there are things other than flowers that would be nice, if he wanted to bring something, but was worried about my allergies. I like koalas. Then flowers would be good, as I can put them in a vase on my table before we leave. Are we meeting somewhere other than my house where it would be inconvenient to carry around flowers, or if I leave them in my car they would probably wilt and die before I got back in the car? probably not such a good idea. The last guy I dated was helping me with a project, and brought me a new bottle of wood glue (because I kept trying to use elmers school glue). That was very thoughtful - and won't wilt in my purse. I've had guys buy me flowers and shove them at me. It was obvious they'd put no thought into their gift, and so the gift didn't mean much. But a man who puts thought into anything he does or gives--not only thought of what he'd like to do, but what I would enjoy--has my full attention. If he is as thoughtful to others as he is to me, he's got an A+. Post Reply
