"a lady in love" with my heart ... or Tulips' heart ... or twosparrows' heart ... or any true man of God's heart here on CDFF? In other words, from past eexperience, what have you learned touches your heart and causes it to fall in love with a guy's heart? Then, secondly, after the "falling in love" stage of love, what encourages and inspires your heart to move into the next stage of love, that "growing in love and staying in love" stage of love of what I call "Barefoot Lovers, Best Friends and Life in Christ Mates"? One of the love songs I've writtten is titled "She's A Lady in Love" ... and singing it anew and reflecting on its feelings this morning, inspired this wondering. Wish I had the time it deserves to answer it. One of my favorite things to say to someone if I know him well, and if it is true is "I know your heart." That means - regardless of any shortcomings or struggles in the relationship, its ok because you know, trust, and respect that person enough to look past it. In a nutshell, for now, the beautiful things I find in a man's heart is a reflection of Christ. It is a humility that lives out "putting others before himself" and has a heart for people. It is being dedicated to communicate and being an open book, listening, being willing to "hack things out", never letting the sun go down without working things out. It is unconditional in spite of seeing shortcomings and forgiving over and over. It is the unspoken rule that that forgiveness will be returned, and a contagious kindness. It is a dedication to the Lord that I would happily set at the feet of and respect. It is a man that thrives on my desire to build hiim up. Well I have to go now but maybe more later.
