women are good at taking care for others but sometimes we forget or don't know how to take care of ourselves.

SO WHAT EXACTLY IS TAKING CARE OF YOURSELF?

WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE FOR YOY?

WHAT IS IT THAT FEELS LIKE TAKING CARE OF OURSELVES?

I try to make sure I get enough sleep, that I eat right, and have some down time. Taking care of myself is easier than for most women, because I don't have other family members to take care of.

This is a good question. :applause:

Exercise and eat right --- for MYSELF

Keep in touch with family and friends

Remember to do things I like to do, even if I have to do them alone

I have one "luxury" I afford myself every 6 weeks or so. It is the only extravagent thing I do for myself, but I enjoy it a lot.

for me it includes: taking care of my skin, going shopping more often, getting my hair cut regularly, facials, pedicures, manicures..to begin with :)

I rarely did any of these when my girls were younger but now that they are self sufficient, I do remember to pamper myself.

I might even start going to the movies alone or out to eat alone, who knows...

Thanks for your replies :)

This theme reminds me about the story of Martha and Maria where

Jesus says:" you worry and are troubled about many things, whereas only one thing is needed" /Lk. 10:41,42/.

Yes, He can reveal to us what is it we really need to be renewed and feel taken care of.
