Posted : 25 Nov, 2010 08:50 AM I believe it is important to have the right attitude on love before you get married to anyone ... that THEY'RE not your SLAVE ... EVER!!! ... and YOU'RE not THEIR slave ... EVER!!! ... but rather, exactly what God created each of you to be ... HELPERS to each other ... not SLAVES ... no matter if one is physically-challenged and the other is not ... or boith are not physically-challenged ... or both ARE physically-challenged ... or either one of you BECOMES physically-challenged in some way at some point in your marriage ... it should make NO DIFFERENCE ... your heart's attitude of being a loving helper for the other should remain the same as God created husbands andd wives to be and desires for you to be ... Posted : 27 Nov, 2010 11:55 PM Long time ago I was asked, which do you prefer: Marry good attitude/character or marry good looks. I was thinking good attitude changes, looks doesn�t. If after the marriage good attitude changed, that is double loss haha. Serious now, I agree with twosparrows, Attitude is Everything. As for becoming a slave to a life partner, I think with the right attitude, serving him is no slaving but act of love. I believe when you love someone, there is joy in serving the beloved. When such beloved has the right attitude, give and take joyful service will be a way of life. So barefootguytolove, I hope you continue to lift up your search to God. Your case is difficult being physically challenged yourself to begin with but believe nothing is impossible. I surely hope for you for the right gal with the right attitude Post Reply
