When I thought of meekness, my mind automatically went to ministry. God sure has done this in my life over the years, lessons learned. Through it all, meekness developed.

Wowreally Good question AnyAnn

Ladies, what do you think about such fruit of the Spirit as meekness ?

I know it is a Blessed fruit an One that is part of the 9 fruits found in Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. These come from GODs Holy Spirit an Not of Ourselves

How important it is in your lives ?

WellIt is Important to me cuz of God, that I do the best I can an I must Admit I lack in this area at timesI am not always Gentle in my manner......

Do you somehow work on it?

Lessons learned Dailyan whole lota Prayer:bow:...xo

I think it is necessary and should compliment the other fruits of the spirit as GodsJust pointed out. As a growing Christian still, God provides ways for me to be tested in that area. Sometimes I pass, sometimes I fail.

It's very important in my life, but not important alone... I, as we all strive to attain, I know I need GOD every step of the way, cause attitude unchecked, will never get to "meekness". Sometime people think meekness iis relative to being a "wimp", staying in the background, letting anybody say anything to you... Of course I don't...lol But really, meekness can be tougher because it requires sometimes being a little selfless too, less rugged, and more tender.

Thanks for the question. Had to ponder. ~ GraceMae

Thanks for your comments,

i see that meekness is sister to strength and dignity and they neatly complement each other.
