COULD YOU?Posted : 26 Oct, 2010 08:18 PMCertainly I could forgive him, but I'm not sure I could trust him. I don't think the Bible says anywhere that we should be foolish, and I think that would be foolish. Even if I could trust him with ME, I don't think I could trust him with my kids. |

COULD YOU?Posted : 27 Oct, 2010 09:56 AMNO ! I do not believe I could Marry a man with that past. Rape, Pedifile...These are very serious issues. I could and would love him unconditionaly ( friend ) but marry no. Actions speak louder than words. Trust is freely given but when broken or betrayed it is a very difficult task to regain it. Forgiveness is a must for All of us as Jesus has said to Forgive our Trespassers/Debtors...so We may be Forgiven by our Father also... |

COULD YOU?Posted : 27 Oct, 2010 11:54 AMI'm not so eager for a man that I'd settle for a rapist or pedophile. Now, there are a lot of bizarre situations (that happen) that get people convicted of such things. I have heard of many situations where a teenaged girl lies about her age so as to be available to 'older guys', and when the parents find out about the guy who might not have realized the girl's real age, gets in deep trouble. This is a tricky situation, because men can always claim they "didn't know" even if they did, but I have had a personal friend get pulled into that situation where he genuinely did not realize the girl was under age. He got out of it by having taken a screen shot of one of their first online interactions, where she clearly (and falsely) stated that she was 22. |

COULD YOU?Posted : 27 Oct, 2010 01:02 PMmy first reaction is no but then I thought about it. I would not ever marry a child molester. Rapist was it the case of he was 18 and his GF was 14 and it was with her consent but still illeagal.. maybe... Murder it would depend on what happened if they are out of prison my guess would be it was not cold blooded. I do have my limits but each case has a story and I would be willing to listen except in the case of someone who harmed a child |
