Posted : 19 Oct, 2010 12:20 PM The fruit of the Holy Spirit are :But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. (Galatians 5:22-23 I had to learn to love my mommy,because my childhood was not good and I felt like i was nothing because I was told by her i was. And know i can call her and at the end say I LOVE YOU mom. I love helping so kindness was always easy, but my heart is for elderly people. Patience lol little to none and i am not going to pray for it,it will develop. This is me for now still a work in progress Post Reply

Posted : 19 Oct, 2010 03:06 PM One of the biggest eye openers for me was going to Celebrate Recovery at my church. I got to sit anf listen to all of those women's secrets. So many have been raped and molested.....I have more patience and compassion for people...There is a quote..Be kinder than necessary because everybody is going through something... Post Reply

(Galatians 5:22-23 Awesome !!! this is so right on the mark...Where ever, When ever, Whom ever...there is a hate, anger, sadness, dis-ease...is when the Fruit of the Holy Spirit manifest...A Child crying...an Elder person alone and in reflection...a Co-worker at wits end...The details are not so important as the love, peace & faithfulness of the Spirit...xo Post Reply

Posted : 20 Oct, 2010 05:33 PM I almost started to answer with the gifts instead of the fruits. Hmmmm..... let me see. Being calm around my co-worker who is exciteable. Being faithful to my friends and family. Lots of good, kind things to strangers and people I know. I am almost always peaceful, and though I may get down at times, joy is new every morning, and I can spread that to others. Love -- in many many ways to the people (and animals) in my life. Self control and patience ----- always an ongoing project with me. God is ever-patient with me, but I still need to work on being so with others. At all times. :goofball: Post Reply
