Posted : 9 Oct, 2010 04:27 PM I know this is the Ladies side, but, hey--you'll jump over to the guy's side, lol While the good reverend's serman does make some rather astute and valid observations, I do not agree with all his remarks. Maybe I missed the point, but I not believe it is God's will for us to marry someone we are incompatible with, nor do I see my needs as selfish. Of course I want to marry someone I can share similar interests with, or enjoy talking with them, or physically attracted to, many of the things Rev Wash said was wrong or selfish. On the other hand, I realize that marriage is much deeper than that. I understand the sanctity and Holy unionship of matrimony, and the good stewardship and commitment that goes along with it. I'm gonna have to listen to that again. Thanks for sharing! Post Reply

It went against everything I had ever heard....Things that make you go hhmmm Tulip - I have listed to the whole sermon and for the most part love all of the speakers on the council for Biblical Manhood/Womanhood. There is a link on Youtube for the whole sermon. This was the first sermon of his I listened to and it gave me alot to think about. Post Reply
