This is for the guys too ... Hey! Wanna have some "pun"?

Another expression I enjoy saying that I made up that is unique to me is: "Hey! That sounds like a good name for a rock group!!!" This expression was inspired by a Bob Hope - Jackie Gleason comedy titled "How To Commit Marriage" that I saw in the mid-sixties ... in this film Jackie Gleason's character was a rock group producer who had his own record company and he was always comin' up with these unique, funny names for the groups that auditioned for him if he didn't like the name they already had ... so ... that "stuck on me" and I found myself thinkin': "Hey! That sounds like a good name for a rock group!!!" whenever I would hear a unique phrase or combination of words in a conversation or in something I was reading or listening to ... before long I wasn't just thinkin' this expression, but saying it out loud to people as another expression unique to me in my personality ... so ... there you have the background for this little "pun" game ...



Now ... the object of this game is to see how many rock group names you can make up that are a pun of some kind on other names or words or expressions and ideas ... like The Beatles made a pun of the word "beetles" for their group's name ... and then to come up with a clever title or titles for their first and subsequent albums ... here's a "fun pun" rock group name I thought up just yesterday to start us off:



Group Name: The Pick-les (guitar pickin' pun)

First Album: Pick 1

Second Album: Pick 2

Third Album: Pick 3

Fourth Album: Pick 4

Greatest Hits Album: BEST PICKS
