Admin	LOVE AND MONEY: in order of importance in a relationship, where should each be placed and why? Posted : 19 Sep, 2010 07:23 PM This should be a NO BRAINER, but for some gals (and guys too), it's NOT!!! I feel there should be no struggle to conclude LOVE comes before MONEY, but is it as easy to conclude as that in every relationship? If not, why not? What do you think and feel? Steve Post Reply

It's the message of the cross and something we're commanded to practice continually. As far as money goes, as long as we have enough to meet our basic needs, we're good to go. And if we're blessed to have something above and beyond that, then we should be giving generously. In fact, an aspect of love is giving of our excess to those who are in need: "This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth," (1 John 3:16-20). Post Reply
