Being a somebody is about having a sense of self and our sense of self should be tied up in doing our best to become the best person we can be which can only be found in and through God who created us to be happy and successful, so His is the only opinion of you that counts, not what other people think or whether we're single or not. He is happy with his work and obviously with our family (all of my children are single) and I think he is content with his singleness at the moment. Being single is not something you must feel embarrassed about. It does not make you less of a person if you dont have a girlfriend or date. What we think of ourselves does not weigh much compared with what we are in God's sight. We have been given fullness in Christ and in Him we live the abundant ("Shalom") life. Ever consider moving to Portland or Vancouver? At any rate --- don't give up. God has a plan for you, and He loves you more than you can imagine. He wants only the best for you. s34rching View Profile History	is it to late Posted : 28 Aug, 2010 07:10 PM It's never too late. You really need to let go of the past and especially pray to God to guide you on this new journey. Your profile is very sad and you need to heal that hurt inside. You like writing, can you find something positive in life to write about. Look for the good in life and focus on that. Get into God's Word and find the comfort there.Once you let God into your life the healing will begin and you'll see the brighter future. Also we need to be patient. Put it in God's hands.
