Dear ladies a word on apperance. :)

I just want to say dear sister dont fall under the illusion of this world, or demonic spirits or even your own flesh. God made you for Himself, with every good and bad detail, so that there will never be one like you. Do not succumb to the pressures of this society, for they do not have to live your life, bear your cross, or work out your salvation.

Instead love your body, take care of it. Dont harm it with too much food or not enough for it is the temple of the living God. Let not your temple be more grand than the God who is within, but let your temple be a place that shows God in all His radiance, beauty, and glory. And for those who are inclined, one who was created for a temple like yours will be drawn in by both God and His temple, because He will be like you radiating with His God, for only God can love God the way God desires, with the power of God

Rabbit, when I saw the topic name, I thought I was going to have to get you. :boxing: :nicenurse:

But you're good.

Very eloquent. I don't disagree with you...

I will just say that what people deem 'too grand' so far as the reference to size is relative. What you think is a good size to someone else is too skinny or too big. Are you saying there is a perfect size? If so, how many pounds before we are 'too' grand'? 5 lbs? 10 lbs? 15.4 lbs? Like I said, it's relative to your preference and to people's body type. And no matter how big we are, we could never begin to be bigger than the God inside. :rocknroll:

The perfect size is how much flesh fits on the frame God gave you :) anything over or under and you start to hurt yourself physically, and emotionally, not to mention those who are dependant on you being there. Where do you draw the line? When you eat more than you're body can use, or you eat less than what yo're body needs, and the stuff you put in tears your temple down. Even though we are not defiled by what we put in our body, we can still honor God in what we take in.

By grand Im saying, dont attract more attention to your body than your God, for what worth would your temple be if God did not reside in it. :)

I love you ladies and want you to know its ok to be the best you God created w/o ne one elses permission.

Well, I love you too Rabbit.

Yes, gluttony is a issue with many. And I agree with your thought process, it's very much like the "WeighDown" Christian weight loss program.

I hear your opinion in your statement and am just saying that healthyness (is that even a word?) covers a wide weight range and doesn't look the same on everyone.

I'm not talking about morbid obesity or anorexia. Neither am I defending overeating. You cannot assume that someone thick or thin is unhealthy or emotionally damaged. I am thick & healthy. When I was 'smaller' (and now unfortunately, ugh) I got/get plenty of attention because I'm top heavy, does the attention my bra size bring one up God's work in me? God's light, glory and anoiting cannot be hidden and is not reserved for 'normal' sized folk.

I know you are making a statement to the ladies. I can tell you are sincere and probably wasn't looking for a debate, so I won't comment any further. Gotta get somethin' to eat.

Make no mistake Im not saying those who are thick or thin are emotionaly damaged, but than agreeing on what constitutes as thick or thin is up for debate, but not here :) I even have a testimony about it, but I believe things like that are personal and therfore i would be open to discussing that with anyone in private, I even have a testimony I can share about such things if you want :).

What I am saying is give yourselves to your God, no one else matters as much, but everyone may benifit from it.

@ Baby Girl...for the life me idk why men like a woman's chest, or any other part of her body, much like I dont know why a majority of women pick out a man's arms as ONE of their fav parts.

well on the issue of people that have a few extra pounds or alot of em.

It is very possible to get rid of it, as I was someone who had to loose a hundred+ pounds to get into the Army. it took some lifestyle changes to make it happen, but there is nothing that is impossible. And please do not doubt that you yourself are incapable, because we serve a God that makes all of it possible. Since we serve that God he will help you once you make your desicsion to do whatever ya want, it don't have to be this subject either.

Keep on trucking and eep on walking.
