Admin	what do single christian women do during the day??? Posted : 4 Aug, 2010 07:19 PM Hello all (ladies of the ask a gal forum) I am slowly getting to know this site a bit better, but one thing I have been unable to find a good answer for; where are all the women during the days and weekends. I know that the clubs are not the place to go, the bars are usually depressing, and when out and about, you just run into alot of cold and impersonall people. So what do the christian women do for fun and where do they go when they get out and about??? Or do thy just sit at home all week and wait around for something in the comforts of their home?? I do things around the home, indulge in hobbies, visit family and friends. I attend church functions and volunteer in places and with organizations I am interested in. Why don't you ask local married folks (maybe in the church?) where they met their spouse? It may give you some ideas. Post Reply

Usually I am chauffer for whatever activities my kids are involved in. Zoo, movies, museums, parks, swimming just to name a few things I do with them during summer and weekends. By myself this weekend, crocheting, reading, jazz club(restaurant with live music), movies, SLEEP UNINTERRUPTED!, get together with women of my church. Okay, gotta go! Posted : 5 Aug, 2010 12:39 PM Well...I dont know bout all the Gals here...I work durin the day full time...nights Im doin chores an also active in the Lords work couple times a week...weekends...Saturdays I take off for Sabbath in the great outdoors for sun & fun an then visits with family & friends...an Sundays Church service followed by a Bible study in my home with a small group of brothers an sisters...an then Chill-Laxin...xo Post Reply

Last month I spent alot of time cleaning and rearranging my bedroom at my parents house. I love hanging out with my friends going to movies or walmart or just hanging at someone's house! I also love hanging out at church. During the school year I live in China, so I prepare for classes, teach classes, and then hang out with Chinese people! Post Reply

Posted : 5 Aug, 2010 03:36 PM Since no doubt you are closer in age to my daughter than I, I should tell you what she's been doing: taking summer college classes, shopping, going to movies & giggling with her girlfriends, shopping, homework, shopping, library/reading, shopping, church, shopping, playing with her dog, shopping, etc. Maybe you should go to a mall food court and watch for girls going to the movies - especially scary movies. Do you like animals? Maybe volunteer at an animal shelter, dog park, or just a park that is a popular place to walk pets. And, there are always church singles groups. Blessings, Rose Post Reply

It is not hard for a guy to look lost in a grocery store and ask a female for help selecting the right brand or how to determine the best fruits or veggies. Sly devils aren't they? Post Reply

Meeting quality Christian women there is hard though. For that you go to the Christian book store. Ask a girl if she's heard good things about whatever book you just picked up and you can have a date in 5 minutes. Not that I've ever done that..... Post Reply

Posted : 5 Aug, 2010 05:49 PM Target is a great place to meet women too :ROFL: About 3 years ago, I was at Target and looked like a total slob... sweats and hoodie... no makeup... my crazy curls in this wild, falling out mess of a topknot... So, this very attractive guy approached me in the housewares area and asked me if I knew where the picture frames were. So I pointed to where they were and he kinda lingered for a bit, then headed off. About 5-10 minutes later, I was in the picture frame section looking at a frame (I have a *slight* picture frame obsession) and he was still there. I was trying to ignore him, but he eventually came back up to me with this frame in his hand. He looked at the frame I was holding and complimented my taste, and then asked my opinion on the frame he was holding. So we talked for a bit... And like I said, he was very attractive! And I didn't catch him even glancing at my chest once (which was a pleasant experience, as I'm used to being ogled wherever I go). So then he asked me out. He said he'd love to talk w/ me further and wanted to take me out for a date/lunch later... his treat. And I was really close to saying yes... But then I thought to myself that he probably wasn't a Christian, and that he was kinda old (maybe 10-15 years older than me... though I very much have a thing for older men sometimes), and that maybe he only wanted sex, or that he might be a serial killer, etc. So I turned him down. And he looked very sad. And then he ended up just behind me in the checkout lane and said that the offer was still open if I'd changed my mind. So I had to turn him down again!! LOL. Anyways, my point in rambling on-and-on about that is to say that you could try hanging out somewhere where girls like to shop and try this guy's technique. You could try the Christian/Inspirational section of a large bookstore too. You never know... You could meet the love of your life! :goofball: Post Reply

Okay, go to the grocery store and ask a girl the last time she went to a potluck dinner. Or, ask her if she could recommend a juice or wine for communion. After all, you could get hit by lightning when you walk out your door in the morning, but you do anyways. 2. Springrose, I'm always contrary! If it makes you feel better though, I have a friend who meets almost all his girlfriends at Whole Foods. He isn't Christian, but it's still proof of concept Post Reply
