Everyone has their own style of humor - what they think is funny or not funny. I have a dry/witty/sarcastic sense of humor and it isn't hard to make me laugh. Some people get my sense of humor, others don't. You can usually learn what kind of humor someone finds acceptable or unacceptable as you get to know them. Post Reply

I enjoy goody, witty, sarcastic, etc but I really HATE when gys get pervy in their jokes Post Reply

Posted : 8 Jul, 2010 01:19 PM I like the kind of humor that is slightly dry, but then immediately followed by a huge grin or a laugh so that I know the guy isn't really serious. I'm a little dense sometimes; if I can't tell that it's a joke, I'm not likely to laugh. I also prefer a guy to know when to use humor, and when NOT to use humor. Someone who has to crack jokes or be sarcastic 24/7 is going to get on my nerves REALLY fast. Crude jokes, mean jokes, or hurtful jokes are most definitely a turn-off for me. Post Reply

A little flirty. Quick and witty. Someone with the ability to pun, or at least recognize puns when they are made, moves right to the top of the list. Respectful. Don't gumby aka don't become what you're not just to make someone else like you. Ever seen the runaway bride? (I know major chick flick) there is a part where Maggie is confronted by Ike about the fact that she always likes and becomes whatever the man she is with at the time likes. Don't be like that. Oh and if I am wrong about this I am sorry. I personally like all types of humor as long as it doesn't put anyone else down or involve vulgarity. Post Reply
