If you had to choose between...

...the Perfect Mate,

who Loved you Truly and makes your everyday Wonderful and filled with Laughter and Joy -- but you both have to work hard everyday to make ends meet and you sometimes have to do without the "finer" things in Life...

Or

The Less than Perfect Mate who has his faults and does not quite "ring" your bell, but provides you with all of your Heart's Desire and you both have a very nice and comfortable Life.

Which one would you choose and why?

The first, of course!

In the first, those qualities will not change (God willing of course) no matter where we are or what jobs we have. Whereas with the second one..... even if circumstances changed, I'd still be stuck with a person who I would not enjoy being around as much as the first name.

The first, though I'd hope that we could at least have a sufficient (though not luxurious) lifestyle! My family has never had much money. We get by, pinch a few pennies, and survive without going into debt. As nice as it would be to have money to burn, I've seen how happy a family can be without much money...I've also seen how miserable a wealthy family can be when money is more important than God and the health of the relationship.

I guess it was kind of a "Lame" question.

With the first there is always an opportunity for positive change...while in the other there is only maintain or get worst.

Never mind....

In our culture today it is Quite clear that many women put finances high on their "must have list"

I have received e-mails from women that say as much.

I make a decent living and do not lack for anything,Have zero debt, wich I think is important.

I think Christian women should not put an emphasis on lifestyle, although I cant blame those who do.

I've heard Christian girls say that they would rather marry for money rather than love, especially if the spiritual side is equal. I could never quite understand that, since money can't always buy happiness.

Of course, my idea of a "perfect" situation would be falling madly in love with a good, solid, Christian millionaire!!!
