I would think an email would be best, but is that too forward? Anyone, prefer a wink or being "favorited"? What about a few visits to the profile show you are interested - or is that just creepy? Adding me to the favorites list wouldn't make me think someone was interested at all, and yes, visiting a profile numerous times with no follow up contact is creepy. IMs can work sometimes, but I find that I'm more impressed with an email as a first contact. Even if someone sends me an IM and that conversation goes well, I would like a follow up email if the guy is truly interested. But that's just my opinion. Everyone is different. Post Reply

I think men should make the first contact, generally speaking, and winks or being favorited doesn't count. Multiple views is creepy and, I'm sorry Yankee, but when I've gotten emails like yours, it's creepy too and I don't respond. I've gotten so frustrated with the creepy emails, I've updated my profile to read, "If you're interested, come talk to me in the forums! :)" or something like that. Just my two cents, T Post Reply
