Posted : 2 Mar, 2010 06:21 PM let's say the date is going well and the attractions are there, he's funny, witty, he smells yummy and you really get along well. (or whatever attracts you personally) You leave the restaurant or wherever and you say goodnight, he leans in to give you a kiss... WHAT DO YOU DO? I think I would start and totally ruin the moment. I'd have to know someone pretty well to kiss them. So, if I had known this person online and it had progressed to phone calls and text messages over a period of time and we had shared with each other during all that..... I'm putting a lot of conditions on this, aren't I? I might. But I probably would not. I wouldn't laugh, though. Post Reply

Or would that be my hand-jerk reaction? LOL :ROFL: OK, honestly, I would probably just step back and gently break the mood somehow. I wouldn't let him kiss me. There would have to be some deeper level of commitment (from both of us) in the relationship before I let a guy kiss me. Now, if he moved fast, and I didn't even see the kiss coming, I probably WOULD slap him. And his chances of getting a second date would go down considerably. I know sometimes things "just happen" on accident, but if he can't control himself when it comes to kissing on a first date, I'd hate to see what might happen on the second or third date. :rolleyes: Post Reply

I know I was when I met my guy for the first time...I think he was more nervous than I was, though! Oddly enough, even after many dates, and even after we've met each others' families and parents, I still get that little nervous feeling each time we meet...but now it's an excited nervous feeling, not a worried nervous feeling! Good idea to delete your profile if things work out. I deleted my profile the site where I met my guy, but just severely edited my profile here to make it clear that I'm only on here for the forums. Thats a really good question River...I believe it depends on how a person/Lady was raised an personal convictions... I was raised in a Family that is all bout Hugs an Kisses...And it is this way with my dearest friends also... But the first date greet is with a hand shake only...And the goodbys are the same. If he leaned ta kiss me I'd back off an say...Thank you very much, I really enjoyed spendin time an gettin ta know you...hope we can do this again... If he caught me off guard...:glow:...I hope I would be able to turn my check to him in time...If not...I wouldnt slap him, but I would say "Bridled Passion is Best Savoired Slowly...Please...lets not rush things...xo Post Reply
