Im sorry if thats how you think us men want you to dress like, but ive also seen over and over this site about women looking for a real man of God, well im sorry real men of God, and i say REAL men of God don't want a women that is just gonna flaunt it. The imagination is the sexiest thing ever for a guy, make the guys wait women, leave it for your husband. Travis Post Reply

It seems (from the ladies court) that those who flaunt it get the most attention - my question has always been, "Is that the kind of attention I would want for me or someone that is looking for true love?" Well perhaps they have different views about how to attract a man that may not be so Godly. I have strong concerns about this too. Personally, I feel that while we women are attractive, some blessed physically with an hourglass shape and have something to flaunt, I think we should "reserve" for viewing those things for that special man, rather HUSBAND. I believe for myself that I have something special that is not to be shared with every man out there. My husband hopefully will be the one who gets that attention of special dress, and then some. I probably am too "old-school" for some men, but that's ok. I at least want to give my potential husband something to look forward too, and not bust out in everything, else he'd have nothing to look forward too. I could go on and on, but I think I've been pretty clear on my stance... Then again, I may come back with more. :goofball: Oh yeah... I feel this goes back to viewing each other as children of God instead of potential husbands or wives. I say if you would feel comfortable dressing and flaunting yourself around a man, then would you still be as comfortable showing off your lady parts to a young child? When someone on this site views me, I want them to see me as a CHILD of God...not a potential wife. I have looked at several profiles...both men and women and unfortunately this epidemic goes both ways. Many of the men that have emailed me are shirtless and trying to make sexy faces in the mirror while taking their picture...honestly, I laugh my rear end off. That is an automatic turn off, and more than likely I will not take the time to read your profile because first impressions are key and if you think that is going to attract me, you have another thing coming. I have been abstinent for 9 years and well, I don't show myself off. It's a matter of having Christ living within me...if it is more and more, not I Paul (insert your own name) but Christ living within me...well do you think Christ would even care what outfit He was wearing, yet alone trying to take pictures of himself shirtless in the bathroom :) Post Reply

In the since that even though this is labeled a "Christian Dating site"... it's not all "Christians" with us. They don't have any other pictures............. they use the same pictures here they use on non-Christian sites............. they think it is the way to attract a man.............. they like everyone to see them. We don't know for sure. But I appreciate you bringing up the topic. And while we are on it --- I have seen at least one man on this site (in my age range) whose main picture was a shot of him in swim trunks! Shocked me, especially when I saw his occupation. To me, that is just the same as a too-much-skin pic from a woman. Post Reply

Therefore, they are still thinking like the world, and that is-I'm not enough as a person, so I have to do whatever it takes to get attention...and we all learn early on that showing the jugs are an easy way to do that. It always flabbergasts me too, but I have had close girlfriends who have done this forever, and I know they truly know the Lord....they don't realize they're wearing a label when they do that, shouting to the world, "I'm very insecure and desperate!"
