Posted : 11 Dec, 2009 11:33 PM goldenstarfish I couldn't message you since I'm such a young whippersnapper, so I hope you don't mind me posing on here. I really liked your profile. When I read it, I felt like I came away understanding more about who you are, as well as with plenty of things to mention in an opening email. I agree that it's long, but a little too long is much better than too short. I don't think you need the last paragraph at all though. Mentally, I skip over the first 5 sentences of that paragraph because they're somewhat cliche and don't do much to distinguish you, while the last couple sentences distract from the overall positive tone you have set previously. Positivity is always important. I know what you said there is important to you, but those sentences don't say much that I wouldn't have assumed about you. Other than that, I think it's important for you to clean up your punctuation and capitalization, as well as work on making some of it flow a little better. For example, your fourth sentence would sound better if it said, "I just shoveled snow the other day for the first time in years and had to buy a snow blower since I have a big place." I really like that you're smiling in most of your pictures, as well as the variety you included. Every guy likes to see a girl smiling. I hope this helps! Post Reply
