I shared how people, in Jesus day, who were👉instantly and miraculously👈healed of whatever malady they had experienced, COULD NOT keep quiet about it ‼️‼️

But one nice lady, who replied to my question, said she wouldn’t tell anyone on a forum such as this one to prove once and for all that miracles still happen today‼️ I tried to tell her that this kind of compelling irrefutable evidence would shut down debate like right now JUST like It did in Jesus’ day‼️‼️

So back to the question—should those who boast about modern day miracles,👉like the ones Jesus performed,👈start producing a few examples ⁉️⁉️

I have to agree with you that since the Bible was completed there haven't been any real verification of miracles. There are those that claim that Jesus has performed miracles in their lives and maybe Jesus did or maybe he didn't. I'm not going to say he didn't but I do lean on the side that he didn't.

I have come to believe that most of the things that happen in ones life is based on what decisions you make and the luck of the draw. I base that on my own life where I've mostly made good decisions, but none of those decisions could have changed all the negative things that are happening in my life. In fact I had absolutely no chance to fix those negative things because I wasn't given a choice to change them as no amount of praying, studying the word, fellowshipping and works changed anything other than maybe making thing worse by giving Satan targets for him to concentrate on.

I agree HM with about everything you said.

As for miracles, I continue to seek evidence for a real modern day miracle. Many people claim biblical miracles are taking place today and, of course, I listen objectively when they share what they believe about their “miraculous” experiences. But nothing I’ve heard, so far, ever so remotely qualifies as a biblical miracle. It’s not just me, MANY other researchers like preachers, teachers, theologians and investigative journalists, are STILL in search of the REAL biblical miracle but all have found NONE‼️We’ve all come to the same conclusion—that miracles have ceased. That’s not to say that God cannot work a miracle.

Trouble with so many “Christians” is this: they just do NOT consider Bible study SERIOUSLY worth the effort. Otherwise, they would understand how the Bible defines a miracle. They would know the difference between a “biblical miracle” and the “providence of God.”

Too many shallow Christians, (those who ought to know better, not talking about new Christians or children), think that every strange happening qualifies as a “miracle”‼️ Obviously they’ve never heard about the 👉providence of God👈‼️‼️

So, I’m compelled, at this time, to point out several reasons why some Christians remain so shallow. Not just me saying it, polls repeatedly prove the ignorance of so many Christians AND their preachers. Even they just don’t know much of anything about their own faith.

A few reasons Christians are so ignorant:

1. Laziness

2. They don’t consider the knowledge of God worthwhile

3. They claim to hear voices from God. So who needs to study the Bible when God speaks directly to you

4. Sin and disobedience

5. Willful ignorance

These are just a few

I should have mentioned 👉bad preaching👈 at the top of the reasons for ignorant list

I want to share President-elect Donald Trump’s first assassination experience as an example to help shed light on the difference between a miracle and the providence of God.

Some think that when Donald Trump just happened to turn his head at precisely the right moment in time as to avoid the assassin’s bullet is a modern day example of a miracle. This IS NOT an example for a biblical miracle.

A biblical miracle would be like Lazarus being raised from the dead by the word of Jesus. Donald Trump’s experience, however, serves as a good example for the Providence of God working things out in accord with his will and his own purposes.

When we are talking about modern Biblical miracles which still exist. I can guarantee that since I had experienced it my own. Let me take as an example such as when I prayed asking some things from God even it was a simple matter like keeping me safe. There were moments where my life was at risk of danger, but with just one sincere prayer God doesn't hesitate to save me from those perilous situations. There was a road accident in front my while we are riding a motorcycle on rainy days. One of the motorist was falling down from his motorcycle because he wanted to avoid the other cars. Instead we was slipped away on the ground. He got injuries on his arms. Fortunately it was not that serious. Miraculaously, it doesn't occurred to us. I was praying inside my brain to always keep us safe whenever I rode a motorcycle or anywhere I go. This is my miracle story to share and have more to proof that God doesn't sleep and would always answered every sincered prayer from His people.

WOOOW‼️

Early, thank you for sharing your experiences.

Yes, God is most certainly in control even in such dire circumstances as those you mentioned.

These kinds of things happen and they are amazing to us‼️ For them, we praise God.

I am a supporter of ICR (Institute for Creation Research). Some time ago, through their ministry, I heard about a pilot who had lost control of his aircraft. He described jumping from the plane in his parachute. But when he pulled the rip cord, the parachute failed to launch. So he pulled a second cord but it also failed to open the parachute. At that point, he felt the inevitable. But his terrible experience did not end with a fatal fall to the ground. Instead, however amazing, his parachute got tangled in some tree branches in some unexpected anomaly of events thus minimizing the impact of his fall—and he made it out alive‼️‼️

Now here’s the question.

Were the experiences we both mentioned on equal footing with what the Bible calls “signs and wonders” ie miracles in modern parlance?

We could agree the experiences we both mentioned were indeed “miraculous” in the way the English dictionary defines them per the English word “miracle”.

But the biblical meaning of miracle is much more distinct. For example, if we consider our experiences miraculous, just wait til you compare them to biblical miracles‼️

Like I mentioned earlier, a “sign and a wonder” type miracle is something far greater in scope than an unexplained natural anomaly. Feel free to share or ask questions.

I think the study of the biblical miraculous is a fascinating study‼️‼️ And I love talking about it

Neither one of the stories you both told contain any proof that they were miracles. I'm not saying they weren't. But they also could have just been the luck of the draw.

I believe that almost everything that happens, happens because of decisions we make whether consciously or unconsciously. Does God protect every Christian from every decision he or she makes that could result in death or disaster? Or does he pick and choose who he saves? If so what metric does he use?

We all know good people who died way before their time or had other serious problems in their lives. So why do good people die or have such problems, but evil people often time thrive?
