However I do understand we are not all as strong in our faith as you and some have just recently came to know Christ so it is not a MUST . Posted : 21 Jul, 2009 07:58 AM I was actually talking on this subject with one of my friends who is in the same position as you. There is so much pressure on people to have sex before marriage! Honestly, I think many Christians have given up. They figure that there are not many virgins out there anymore, so why save it if no one else does? Yet, the bible constantly urges christians to wait for marriage. Sex is a great thing, it is a gift to husbands and wives from God. But today.. we abuse that gift! Abuse of such a wonderful thing is sin and leads to more sin, ie... drinking... drugs... rape!! So before I answer your question I am going to ask you this. Who is it more important to please... God or women? Honestly, for you being a 30 year old virgin it is very much a blessing. Forget about the media and the movies that tell you that it is wrong or makes you gay, or untouchable. That is so wrong... you are a strong man who is honoring God with your body. And your future wife will love you for it!!! God bless you and your choice, you are a much better man because of it! God promises us that when we are saved that we get a clean slate. For those of you who may have slipped up once or twice or more. Have no fear, God forgives you. He will cleanse you and you can live the rest of your live as a Born again virgin!! This is defiantly hard as well. To go from sexually active to abstinent. It is a huge transition, but you will be glorified for the choice you make! Post Reply

Please don't associate with anyone--virgin or otherwise--that doesn't fully support your decision to not be conformed to this world. May the Lord continue to guard your heart and mind and not doubt.
