WEDDING RINGSPosted : 19 Jul, 2009 10:47 AMthe wedding rings are a tradition, however from a personal standpoint as i have purchased one in the past, its not how much you spend (i spend 1900$ on a princess cut solitare it was over a carat lol i know nothing about jewlry) but how much it looks like you spent, now if the girl honestly loves you with everything in her it dont matter if she got a ring or not. |

WEDDING RINGSPosted : 19 Jul, 2009 07:22 PMI understand the sybolism of rings .. I think that women more than men place too much importance on how much it cost or how big a diamond engagement ring is. |

WEDDING RINGSPosted : 19 Jul, 2009 11:20 PMThe actual tradition behind a wedding ring is the binding of one person to another. the cost doesnt really make a difference. The circle is metaphorical for "forever" or "neverending" its also put on the certain finger for a reason. There is a myth ( i dont know if it holds any truth) that the vein in that finger goes directly to the heart...im not sure if there is any scripture about the rings.... |
