fearnada98 View Profile History	Why Are Women So Optimistic Posted : 28 Dec, 2014 05:19 PM I'm wondering why women are so optimistic when encountering guys with issues. They are always so sure that he will eventually change, and are always so sadly mistaken. I would recommend for women to find a guy that you like the way he is. That way you won't be disappointed when he doesn't change. If you don't like smokers, drinkers, abusers, or macho types, don't even start a relationship with them. It's so sad to see so many women spend a lifetime trying to change their man, and are so miserable when they realize it is an impossible task. Post Reply

Any person does not change over night, nor we don't have the power to change them. If a woman gets into a relationship with a man that does not meet her standard with the hope that he will change, that is desperation. Post Reply

I really struggle in this area as I have had some experiences that have almost put me off ever dating again, I now think that it would take nothing short of and angel appearing in front of me heralding " This is OK" for me to believe that there is even a remote possibility here . I have learnt that Males never change ( via 2 marriages and two divorces) no matter how optimistic . "Males NEVER change" I used to be a drug addict, now I have been super naturally changed thru the Spirit and Grace of Christ. I am a new creation. Do you remember Saul who "changed" into Paul. To marry a man who in many ways you do not like, annoying with hope. that he change with me. This is stupid, not sober. We are not called upon to change anyone. We are marrying an adult man. If we see that we like each other at all levels: spiritual, mental, physical. We accept each other as we are and appreciate the peculiarity. If there is no love at all levels you should not marry him. No need to spoil the life of yourself and man. Post Reply
