However with that said........if the type of relationship and level of integrity established between myself and this gentlemen been well grounded, then there should be no doubt he'll honor his promise! So Im not sure if that was a YES or NO. The truth is that he fell asleep. He should have apologized before I brought it up and not made the exasperating claim that he was asking in case he decided to!!! So why did he mention getting settled I asked? Ha!! I have a real hard time trusting someone who stretches the truth. I forgive him him but theres no reason to go any further as far as Im concerned. Thanks for taking the time to reply. Posted : 28 Jun, 2014 11:15 AM SHP.....my point exactly when I mentioned earlier that assuming what another human being may do or think in any given situation, even if you've established a workable relationship, can be nerve racking if not kept in check! We can never really be responsible for what someone does or doesn't do, but always holding ourselves accountable for our own responses and actions! I feel your disappointment with this gentlemen, if only for the daunting process online dating can be when trying to be consistent in communicating......trying to know one another better!! It's not easy! Online dating is truly not for the faint of heart(smile)! And your instincts regarding not going further in this situation, may possibly be God's way of showing you now, rather than later, what you need to see and know about this person! And my sister, reading some of your posts I too can sense your sensitive heart(smile). Thank you for your warm words and blessing to you as you wait on His best! Post Reply

This conversation could be interpreted as follows: he is annoyed by you calling so many times, so he wants to talk to you after he gets settled, which could take multiple days. I don't know what he meant by getting settled, but if he's moving somewhere, then it could take days. If it may take him less than a day to get settled, then he may call you right back when he is ready. I have one advice: Don't overanalyze. :)) Post Reply
