I'm trying to move on with my life and would love to find someone to share in the family we've built. I try to be very respectful of the criteria women have on their profiles. I will never contact anyone if I'm out of their age preference, etc. But when someone says they don't want children are they saying they don't want to have more children of their own or are they saying that they'd prefer not to talk to someone with a young child? Do you think I'd be out of place to contact someone who says they don't want children? Post Reply
View Profile History	Someone who does not want children Posted : 18 May, 2014 01:45 PM It depends on how it is interpreted by the individual, but the most common interpretation I see is that they don't want to bear children - this may be because they physically can't or because they already have one or more and don't want to go through pregnancy and childbirth again for whatever reason. I don't think in the majority of cases they wouldn't accept you already having one, though statistically a few won't. Post Reply

Some women may say they don't want children, but might accept a step-child for the right man (you?). Post Reply

I mean its not like your asking them to marry you or anything, your just wanting to get to know them more. Who knows maybe a lady that doesn't want children might actually fall in love with your adorable daughter too. Stranger things have happen before. ^^ Post Reply
