Posted : 14 Jan, 2014 12:07 PM ......is it just me or have you sensed as women of God, that what's expected of you from others and ourselves for that matter, whether you are a mother, sister, friend, business partner or even neighbor, has intensified? Did it seem that once your faith in Christ was revealed, the magnifying glasses and spot lights came out with a vengeance(smile)! Despite the fact that women juggle the demands of life daily, being a child of God should if anything, help assist and navigate us on our journey in Him, not add additional pressure! And yes I have wondered if salvation rather adds instead of minimizing life's challenges. Suppose this is why Jesus said "Narrow is the path to His kingdom and only a few go through it. But wider is a path to distraction and many go through it. One must be willing to lose everything for Christ's sake, fore it may go that far only to test you if you depended on what you have of on God. Post Reply

Don't get me wrong, I truly understand that righteousness and obedience can sometimes bring suffering and persecution to believers in general. I guess I was venting with this post, giving others the opportunity to do the same(smile)! The path is narrow and we have to squeeze to get to the finishing line.We live in the world but we do not belong here.
