I personally prefer him to know all my faults which are gonna be a continuous discovery ofcause. Some may be on the surface, being visible at first site. Other may be hidden deep in me, taking him to pursue me on a personal level so he gets to know me better in a way that is different from how every one else knows me. This lays a ground for the other part to partake in working together with God leading me/us to repentance. Which I think gives purpose to the relationship. We won't just be dating for the sake of 'being inlove' instead we'll be working together to bring balance through repentance, keeping in mind that both are a combination of two imperfect beings working together to achieve perfection that we should be striving for, so both 'as one' are presented as Christ's spotless bride before God on judgment day. Provided that's our ultimate goal ofcause... Unless we just dating to pass time which will serve no purpose. Again it goes back to the lady's willingness to change. Knowing she's not changing from her faults to please her man, but rather it was for such a purpose the man was attracted to her, seeing a potential of a great wife in her, seeing beyond her faults that could have been worked on to bring out the best hidden deep in her, hidden by the faults that are on her surface. No matter how you slice it, my mate knowing as much about me, whether good or bad, is only going to, I pray, bring us closer together! A lot of what we'll know and share about one another will come by trial and error soooooooooooo what else can we expect! God is ultimately the one in full control!! Just my opinion........... I would show him by my actions that God is working on my faults. Hopefully, the man has opened himself up to God as well and is allowing God to work on his faults as well. I fast and pray now, for God to remove anything in me that is not like Him. He alone is the cleanser. Post Reply
