Have you ever been in a place where you tried to play or played ''the role of the Holy Spirit'' for a man?

Any thoughts on this topic?

Lady dear,

Its amazing that you should ask that question. Was meditating of fruits of the Holly Spirit from yesterday. Wondering if I ever manifest any of them? Though I haven't answered your question hey

I personally don't think any human can play the Holly Spirit's role since He was given to help us (the church)

We can rather strive to be Christ like minded through the help of the Holly Spirit.

Thanks for your answer though it was meant in a bit sarcastic/not literal sense.

Yes, Ill share. I was married to an alcoholic and addict. We would go to church and I decided that he should be rattled with guilt and remorse by the Holy Spirit and when he wasnt after church I would put him through a living hell to try to make him feel the way I thought he should. We finally divorced but he has never repented and I could have been free long before I was but since I was god I was going to change him. I am fee now and changed by the Holy Spirit. I needed G-d to change me just as much as He needed (s) to him. But being too busy being "god" myself it was hard for Him to change me until I came to the end of myself!!!

Dear Anyann,

I think there is nothing wrong for trying or wanting to save your husband or your partner.

But we must not forget that it is only with God's will and according to God's plan and with God's permission that our hope / wish / fight / trial will eventually succeed.

Philippians 2:13

for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill His good purpose.

Common mistake that can happen as we want salvation for your partner are when we are relying on our own strength and lack in asking God's involvement in the process.

I know there's no step by step manual book on how to do it properly. The best thing that we can do is to interpret the wisdom in the bible and act on it. You will end up succeed or failed to saved your partner but the wisdom will guide you through the timing and understanding His answer.

I am sharing this based on my own experience, when I was believing too much on myself (and less on God) that I would be able to bring salvation to my non-believer ex of 10 years.

I wish everybody else with the same struggle a strong faith, patient and wisdom.
