Myself personally, ummmmmm.........let me make sure I say this without prejudice, my PERSONAL preference is to be coupled with someone who is at least my height or taller. Now I've met wonderful individuals in my past who where shorter than myself, but for the most part we turned out to be platonic in our relationship. Oh btw, many years ago, there was one I dated, but we still ended up becoming good friends.......it just worked out that way. Now if The Lord presents someone to my life who's shorter than me, yet we both sense a spiritual, emotional and physical attraction, then should I say anymore:yay:!!! Post Reply

This is a situation where on-line would be the advantage so I could get feeling for him before I meant him, then the situation would be more complicated (most likely in his favor). Even though I am naturally attracted to muscular men who are at least 8-inches taller than me, I ended up marrying a man who was neither. Go figure. Then again, he was my best friend, and I loved him. So, the physical stuff did not matter to me at the time. Heck, if I'd been looking for love when I met him, I would not have given him a second look. I was not physically attracted to him at all. It was only after I'd spent most of my free time with him over the course of a year--as friends--that I came to love him. And, just as easily, the love I had for him ended when he cheated on me. So, maybe loving a man depends on how he treats me, and maybe how trustworthy he is? Who knows? The point is moot now, since I am 'looking for love.' So, the guy has to at least appear attractive in his picture(s)--especially if he's not very tall. He's got to be reasonably attractive, so I'm motivated to chat with him and get to know him better. He does not have to look like Brad Pitt, and it might be better if he did NOT look like Brad Pitt, since I cannot STAND Brad Pitt. LOL! Just saying. --Cat Post Reply

I am more than willing to give up all my heels haha. As for 5'10 that's a good three inches taller!!! Totally fine with the "American average" Post Reply
