Just wanna first say that: I enjoyed reading your profile story. You are well tought with good values... Was taken by this line: "I believe marriege is a deep, serious, commitment with God first and between man & woman" I personally believe that inorder for one to really understand what marriage is, How God has meant it.... It begins with understanding what does God mean when saying "we are christ' body/bright and He is the groom) Which is what you've reflected without much words said about it. Your profile is perfect to me, even the clearness on the posted pic. You seem to be the one who knows he's story. Best wishes on your seach my brother!! Post Reply

You mention being ok with a woman with less passion for God than you and you would help her develop that passion...what that reads to a woman is if I don't meet your expectations you're going to work on changing me. Maybe saying we can find a ministry to grow together in might have the same meaning but sounds less offensive. I also recommend mentioning what you are studying in college. The type of degree you're working on will say something about the future you may offer a potential spouse...not that she won't love you if she's the right one...but she'll want to know your ability to provide for a family. One other thing...you list a lot of things that interest you...maybe narrow it down to a few so it doesn't look like she will have to be squeezed in. God bless your search. Post Reply

"you mention being ok with a woman with less passion for God than you and would help her develop that passion" Think I red that line about 3times, and had to think a little. When taking it at a face value, It opens questions But as I stopped & wondered for a little while with an open mind to it.... I persived kindness, gentleness & leadership in him. With me he came across as the one who understands that he's potential mate could still be wondering away from the truth & light. He's mate could still be in need of a workout from God until she's eventually a finished work that meets he's requirements, therefore he's willing (not to change or save her but rather willing to avail himself as vassel God uses to bring her to the light) to hold her hand & lead her to God, if willing ofcause. That was just a charm to me after all.... Waiting patiently while God takes time working on he's partner, having him involved too as a useful tool through bible studies maybe and prayer times together. Though now I kinda relate with your reply dear, when saying "maybe saying we can find a ministry to grow together" That one sounds even better, with less chances of being misunderstood as if he says "he'll then change he's partner if she doesn't meet he's requirements.
