Does being single for too long threaten a potential relationship?

Hello to you all my dear sisters!

Can you share your thoughts on this one?

Does being single for too long threaten a potential relationship when it comes to one having to coperate with given orders/instructions by a male partner?

My personal view on this:

I think submission flows from our nature when there's that special person around. One somehow finds herself coperating without even being elet at times.

This may manifest in just little things as:

Calling & alerting that you'll be getting home late.

Informing that you've made it safe to your destination, if you had to travel by your self.

Trying out a new outfit infront of him, with a hope of getting he's feedback (without asking directly if you've should have bought this?)

What do you think ladies.... Does being single for longer hinders one from submiting, since you're not familiar with consulting especially with little things like those i've just mentioned.

Being single can affect either side of a relationship...we get set in our ways, have our own funds to buy what we want, go on vacations where we want, etc. Our habits are different when we're alone.

These are not insurmountable, just have to think and talk through how to adjust...and be patient with each other.

I agree with teach ib.

Regardless of how long you have been alone one has to set his/her mind that one has to make some changes after marriage to fit into the marriage setup.

One just needs to prepare him/herself psychologically and be ready to change and all works out very well.

Is that what you do for her? If so all is great. But if you don't want to fetch the ball don't throw it.
