Question About MEN Needing Green CardsPosted : 25 May, 2013 07:58 AMTo obtain a "fiance visa", meaning before you are married but are engaged to be married, you must go to the US embassy in your country and apply for a fiance visa. Once approved, you can come to the US, but must marry with 90 days. If you marry in your home country before the fiance visa is approved, you must go back to the US embassy and apply for a spousal visa. Once that is approved, after mental, physical, and criminal exams, you can come to the US. It can take anywhere from 6 months to 2 years to be approved. |
