Any of you ladies Deaf, HOH/Hearing Impaired, CODA, or an Interpreter for the Deaf here in CDFF?

I am Deaf but I can talk very well and read lips. I am seeking to marry and have kids.

Please read profile for more info about me.

Talk to you soon, ladies!

I got a minor in Deaf Communications in Missouri and worked with the Deaf community there for a while and in Tulsa for a summer.

Very nice! Cool! Have you spend time in the real Deaf community? Deaf coffeehouse or even in your church, Deaf Ministry?

Not a whole lot of time unfortunately. I did when I first moved back out this way...worked with the Deaf ministry at my church interpreting for the services. But, working where I do, time has become more scarce and I haven't been able to do so as much. :( What about you?

I have an Uncle and an Aunt Who are Deaf. It was great growing up around them and trying to teach them to speak! They both were very Creative and there were a lot of boys and girls who wanted to marry them. I'm sure the woman you marry will learn to be around you even if she wouldn't be deaf etc etc. Best wishes :)

He is no longer an active member here. His sensitivity got the best of him and he left. Sorry for him because he could have grown and matured throught the pain of the process of discovering himself first before discovering Gods plan for his life.

Being on this site is a growth process and at times is very difficult and lonely but those who endure to the end will win the prize.

Thank you Michael for telling :) God bless! I thought the story of my uncle and aunt (actually my uncle's wife's brother and sister) story might encourage him. God bless him too.
