The command to love tells us that we know God. Love is not something fabricated it comes from the source. Like God, not everyone can receive Gods love due to pride. Like Him not everyone can receive the love we have. We think it would be easy to just find someone and love them and they would be so grateful for our love. This is not the case. What is important to keep in mind is what direction and path we are walking. Our standards determine the direction and choices we make in life. Do you know the word standard comes from the flag that kings would show in battle. His army would follow the standard. Not everyone follows the King ( god) the same way. Our standard in following God with others gives us harmony. I know.....My ex was a woman who went another way and my now wife to be walks with me step by step following the standard of our King. If you and a lady follow differing standards you are only asking for hurt and frustration. If you follow the same you find unity and true oneness. Choose for your self........... Post Reply

View Profile History	A question of who is Love-worthy Posted : 19 Mar, 2013 04:32 AM Pride blinds us from Jesus who is truth. Pride prevents us from needing anyone or anything out of weakness. The only way to Gods love is through weakness. We tell our self that I am right and we justify our position through pride. Their are many christians who know much scripture but do not know God due to their pride. To them everyone is wrong and they are right. In order to recieve love one must be humble and willing to be rejected. When one is humble they will approace the giver of Love asking and needing their love. The root of pride is this phrase. I will be like god knowing good from evil. We by nature are self willed stuburn individuals following after the lie of the devil. We either work in dying to this nature or we find ways to elevate our selves above god and others. One way we can know we have pride is this. If we are fault finders. Do we always look for the negitive in others? Do we try to elivate our selves or do we try to encourage those around us. When we seek to encourage our selves we are filling our selves with pride. When we are encouraging and loving others we are living in the mind of God. Do we try to draw people to our selves? This too is pride. Or do we direct individuals to God? To be honest the way I was able to find a wife is I had to repent of this. Once I stopped trying to draw women to my self and just direct their hearts to who God is and love them everything turned around for me. Up till recently I was still trying to manipulate women to like me. It took my hurting a woman I really cared about. When I was ready to be honest with my self God opened my eyes forgave me and set me on a new path. You see if you are reactionary like I was. If you are sensitive like I was. If you become easily frustrated like I was. More than likely you too have the wrong focus. For all men....Unly till you become a man who directs a womans heart away from your self and to God will you find the strength of a man. The strength to love those crazy beautiful women. Post Reply
