Admin	Immodest clothing Posted : 7 Feb, 2013 07:59 AM Tell me ladies why is it that a lot of self proclaimed Christian women who say they want a Godly relationship with no sex with a guy and then in all of their photos they have very low cut shirts and you can pretty much see everything God gave them. Now before you start bashing me because you think I am judging and I dont know where those people are in their spiritual maturity let me just say this. This is a question out of curiosity not judgement. For the Bible says Judge not lest ye be judged. And we all have stuff to be judged for. So my question is this why still wear those immodest clothing? A womans body is meant for her husband to see. Post Reply

I know from my own experience that we - christian gals - are still sinners, and we live in the world, which unfortunately does not make it easy for us... I try not to be a stumbling stone for men. But in the same time I find it hard not to be able to wear a tanktop or shorts just because someone might be tempted by seeing my collar bone or knie LOL. You know, every day I see my reflection in the mirror, and I ask myself: How to be well groomed without being too engrossed in outward beauty? how can I look attractive without being seductive/sexually appealing? I think the line is very very thin. The only way to be godly is to read the Word and to have one's mind constantly renewed by it. And this counts for both sexes! You guys need to pray for clean thoughts and hearts, because otherwise even if we women wear burqua'a and hijabs it won't help you much....... And, as Paul said, you just flee from any apperance of evil. If a gal shows too much in her picture, well, then don't click on her profile, don't write to her, don't give the devil a foothold! And, to twist the question around: I just saw another thread on ladies supposedly choosing 'jerks' over 'good guys'. Well. I disagree with this actually. One could say the same thing about men, that they choose 'tarts' over modestly dressed good girls. How is that? :) Post Reply

I believe it's all a result of the women's lib movement. Don't fall from your position, man. You're right on. Post Reply
