Homemaker?Posted : 26 Oct, 2012 06:43 PMOH yes. I feel women are pushed more and more to be career women and belittled for being a homemaker/stay at home mom. And it can be embarrassing to tell people you want to stay home and raise children. Been there, done that. |

Homemaker?Posted : 28 Oct, 2012 02:18 AMYes I wish everyday that I could be with my babies all day everyday...it's nice to have a break but honestly I am 21 and I don't want to miss ANYTHING in their lives. The world has made it where it is to the point that women should or need to work. Like me for instance, I have to work to support my kids. |

Homemaker?Posted : 28 Oct, 2012 05:22 PMNo, parents (both sexes) are the caretakers of the next generation. It is not, and should not be, the sole preserve of the woman to raise children. |

Homemaker?Posted : 28 Oct, 2012 05:28 PMAmen Brother DKJ.. that is a spot on observation and a nice catch! Too many men are abdicating their responsibilities to their wives these days. That is not Biblical manhood. |

Homemaker?Posted : 28 Oct, 2012 08:23 PMThere is nothing wrong with being a stay at home dad. My dad was one, while my mom was the main breadwinner, we didn't have a choice due to extenuating circumstances, but being a stay at home parents is an honourable profession, whether you are mom or dad. I would love to be a stay at home mom when I have kids, but it todays economy that is not always an option. |

Homemaker?Posted : 2 Dec, 2012 11:43 AMI do notice that many people in this world do not view women who can/want to be homemakers seriously. I used to be blessed with the ability to do that, and I loved it and took great joy in it. I hope to find a partner who supports and thinks highly of my desire to do so. It's important that a child be raised by it's parents when possible. |
