Admin	Goodness, femininity, grace. Posted : 29 Jul, 2012 09:13 PM Men and women are different, we all know this, some interpret our differences as a bad thing. It definitely isn't! You know that song "Why can't a woman be more like a man?" from My Fair Lady? It's rubbish, it's silly..It's a good song, it's catchy...but it's silly. One of the most feminine things about us, women, is our kindness. Men like that and look for that in a lady, her softness, her willingness to forgive and be a peacemaker. You might say we have that soft touch they desperately need. (The lot of them are rough brutes, you know!) I'm not saying to be a pushover, I'm saying next time you want to yell at someone, rip their head off, take a bite out of them, have a go at them... use kindness instead, you'll be surprised at the reaction you get. It trips people all up! Nothing soothes the beast more then the delicate kindness and softness of a woman. So be sweet...even when it's hard to. The Lord made us different for a reason. Post Reply

Men are not nurturers like us ladies, we bear the children and the men are to be those who help finance those children in love ideally...it is when everyone does their fair share in the upbringing of the child that love will cover a multitude of sin. Kindness can also be misread as enabling, co-dependant behavior or a survival technique begetting disrespect. We need to be healed in our areas of woundedness first before we are able to genuinely be kind and not digging our own hole deeper than it already is. When we are healed then we can truely love with a kindness that only He can provide through us by His Spirit. Post Reply

Except for the part about men not being nurturers. My nieces come to me when theyve hurt themselves, or when they are sick, as often as they do their mother. Men can nurture, most are just too worried about being "macho" to show it. Post Reply

Let's not allow societal norms to prevent us from appreciating spiritual girfts in non-traditional vessels :nahnah: While I agree that women, on average, tend to express it more strongly than men, I have certainly met the extraordinarily kind man and the extraordinarily mean woman. Same thing goes for nurturing, not all you ladies are...well how do I say this... cut out to be terribly nurturing, haha. On the same vein, I have met incredibly nurturing men. It's best to think of it as a statistical spectrum, even if 99% of women are kind, there is a 1% who aren't. Though it's far from 99% :ROFL: Best not to stereotype over 3 billion people (each gender) into one box. Humans are such delightfully unique and varied individuals. Life would be so boring if everyone has the same personality traits, wouldn't it? Post Reply

The Bible is very clear on how a christian woman is normally prone to act, and as you gentleman have made it clear...Christians in general. Cruelty is not a personality trait, it is a character flaw.
