Posted : 28 Jul, 2012 05:20 PM Currently I'm getting no responses on my profile which can be seen at http://www.christiandatingforfree.com/view_profile.php?userid=311440 I'm thinking that my picture isn't good. I got my picture taken by a professional because I don't have any friends who have a camera. Is it okay to have a professional take my picture, where I have a background that is not outdoorsy. I'm really trying to find love on this dating site, and don't know how to better my chances. Thanks to all who provide their help Post Reply

If you can find a coworker or even stranger at a tourist spot to take some casual photos of you, it might help. Posted : 28 Jul, 2012 11:08 PM Teach_ib is right, I'm a photographer, and from my perspective you don't need a professional photographer...just maybe a friend or coworker to take some snaps of you, maybe outside or something like that, with a nice background view. I would suggest getting your eyebrows done, I know that seems weird, but I think it would help... just don't let them thin them out too much. Consider am outfit for a photo, get a sporty looking jacket, like a Land's End sort of campy manly jacket to make your upper body look bigger. Choose solid color shirts, if you like a pattern choose a bold pattern. Green and yellow look good with brown eyes. Your profile is good, however I'd suggest putting a bit more about yourself on there, about the Lord, something we don't know about you. Maybe a joke you think is funny. Just put some bulk in there. Just be yourself in all that you do, and be happy, the right girl will see you for your great qualities. I was never good at math in school, and actually pretty terrible, lol. When I was your age I was clueless as well. I made some cosmetic changes in my wardrobe and grooming but the biggest thing was my sports car that helped me get the ladies. Heres the problem bro. Getting the ladies is the easy part keeping them is the difficult part. Keeping them is more than just looking good its being the kind of guy a woman can respect. Posted : 30 Jul, 2012 12:46 PM A professional photographer is looking to pay their meals, it is their job and a professional wants results with the clarity and finesse applied to the photograph so the photo sells their expertize...thus making others want what they have to sell. I agree you don't need a professional photo but one that captures who you are altogether. Natural is always best with greens and blues to offset the photo making it appealing to the eye. Keith it isn't your looks that should get the right lady but the depth of the words within your profile combined to an attractive photo to move a lady to reply to your inquiry. You make the move of interest, no replys mean they are missing out, everything no matter what it is needs a good foundation. A natural photo, true and candid words combined with the character of Christ by all means should put you on many favorites or steal the one true heart you are destined to meet. :yay: Post Reply
