But what I've found through relationships that I have had - including friendships, is that there is an art to having healthy relationships. And sometimes they are not easy. But it is in season that your life in the ordinary/normal/day-to-day/ comes to the front ... it is in trials that we see the metal of a man. And this metal is always being forged. If we neglect God in the secret places then woe to us. Church attendance is the last thing to go. A 'sagging' spiritual life is surely going to have harmful consequences - not only to us but those we love. Post Reply

They got an 'expert' into their rotary clud to discuss it, and one of the things that stuck with him was what determined our happiness was broken down into 3 categories. 40% for DNA and conditioning, 50% our responses and 10% our circumstances. 10%!!! only 10%, which I would agree with. Because you know a said to guy earlier in the week, when asked how I was, I replied "I've got nothing to complain about". But then it hit me that we always have something to complain about. And then of course that we always have something to give thanks for. An attitude of grattitude is a precious then - how can we appreciate what the Lord has done for us without one? Post Reply

View Profile History	Marriage!!! Posted : 28 Jul, 2012 11:58 AM The only problem within a marriage is not leting God be first and foremost within every aspect of your life. God has only two very explicit commands to those who are married, men love their wives as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for us (He gave up His life for His church) and God says for the man to give up his life for the wife. Then to the wife God says respect your husband, that is it. The cycle is respect begets love and love begets respect. Humble ourselves and love like He loved us first...then love others in the same way, so easy except we don't want to most of the time, now isn't that too simple? Post Reply
