Fear of "The Voice?"Posted : 1 Jun, 2012 09:57 PMI posed this question to the guys...Like me I am sure you enjoy sending and recieving messages on here? Chatting with others and all of that. Now is it just me or are you afraid of "The voice?" The voice is what someone actually sounds like beyond the typing and chatting. I always wonder what the other person sounds like. I know I can not be the only one. Random question but I think this is a valid curiosity. |

Fear of "The Voice?"Posted : 5 Jun, 2012 06:31 AMI think a big reason why you don't get to the point of hearing someone's voice on here. Weather it be by phone or Skype Etc.. Is because most people not just men but women too. Want to keep the relationships on here as acqaintances and not personal because of the nature of the site and internet in General. Trust is something hard to come by in a Fearful Society and many including myself don't want to "fall in love" with the wrong person. It's very hard from a psychological viewpoint to fall in love with someone over type Characters... It's not as personal as the hearing someone say the same things with someones voice and you don't feel the same response.. Like if your read, " I love you." from someone who loves you -- it's not the same as someone romantically saying, " I love you". The very tone and pitch of the voice identifies with the mind that.. The person is either truly in love with you or that you don't feel it. This feeling of "feeling loved" carries on as the relationship gets more "personal".. And you experiences activities or moments with the person. So, that each time you hear them say something like that.. depending on your recall of those past activities or moments with that person. Your either relate or not... |
