Relocation WoesPosted : 24 Mar, 2012 11:16 AMHi friends, I obviously need help here. First off, I never dated in my life until I signed up here neither online nor offline.I came to this site out of curiousity... Then, I realised most of the men are from the west or the east, yet, I decided to try and I started dating the most true, honest, kind man on here, but as we got further down the finishing line I could never completely pull myself together because of the relocation thing, and I'm almost backing out! I need advice and suggestions, plus Is this natural? Or Is it because I am so new to the dating world? I am feeling so bad I can swallow myself. Please give advice/suggestion being sensitive to my feelings. Thanks. TF. |

Relocation WoesPosted : 24 Mar, 2012 01:43 PMI am a little confused from your post. Is he asking you to move? I assume that you have met the guy already. A little clarification might get more responses from the group. |

Relocation WoesPosted : 24 Mar, 2012 07:26 PMHi iheart, the problem is we belong to different countries and either one of us has to move to take things further. But it frightens me and I am not ready to relocate. I'm not sure if its natural for every woman or its just my fear. |

Relocation WoesPosted : 25 Mar, 2012 06:12 PMtruefriends67...my fiance is from the Philippines, I am from the U.S.......I know she has fears of moving here..wondering about the culture, the area in which I live...like is it safe...things like that..plus I know she is also feeling some anxiety about being so far away from her family..especially her mom and sister....but I hope that I can help make the transition as easy as possible and I definitely hope that we will visit her family as often as possible and I want to keep the communication between her family as open as possible....I think it is normal to feel anxious/scared about something that is new...whether it be dating or moving to a new country/culture....but it can also be exciting if you chose to embrace it...if you truly love this man...trust in God and allow Him to lead you and guide you...He will bring you peace and comfort....of course...as my mom once told me...if I wish for my fiance to move her to live with me...I should be willing to move to the Philippines and live with her....so talk with this man and pray for God's leading...He really only wants what is best for His precious children.... :) |
