Admin	Is this saying true:Beauty is skin deep,ugliness goes to the bones, Posted : 18 Feb, 2012 06:49 AM Ladies: I would like to know why some women need to douse themselves in perfume,thus making it almost impossible to be in the same room with themselves. Others wear finger nails which resemble eagles talons. Some wear enough jewelry to build a bridge with. While some want to challenge a man for his position. Others are more concerned about the looks,money,homes,cars and many other wordly trappings. Did not YHWH give to us EVRYTHING we need for Life and Godliness,then why is it necessary for these other things to make oneself attractive. Shalom Post Reply

For we know what YHWH says about beauty. Pro 31:30 Grace may be deceitful, and beauty vain, but a woman who fears Jehovah, she shall be praised. Pro 31:31 Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her works praise her in the gates. I personally would like to be with a chinese lady,i find the people and culture fascinating. Shalom Post Reply

However, you missed mentioning other categories of women, which might imply that all women fit into at least one of the above categories. You did not list the women who aren't self-centered princesses, the ones who are prayer warriors and servants to the down and out and broken hearted. Or the women who work quietly in the background to help make their men shine. Or the women who always put other people first. The ones who work three jobs to keep the children fed while taking care of sick husbands, or because husbands are off to war, or missing entirely. My suggestion is, if the beautiful women come hand in hand with deciept and vanity, why not look to the women who are not in the 'pretty' category, Chinese or not, and discover the beauty of their bones?! Do not get me wrong,a beautiful woman with Christlike character is great. Yet how many of these type of women are within the local assemblies,especially the next generation.. Despite my obvious good hunky looks, my ugliness runs so deep it permeates even my bones. Thankfully God looks on me with Jesus'-blood tinted spectacles! Leaving aside the spiritual aspects though, I've known women who maybe weren't the best lookers but had hearts of gold, and foolishly, I turned them down for those who had beauty but later I realised it was only skin deep... Oh man you guys... we all meet people like this, men and women alike, maybe we need to just ask God where to look. You can't hide from people like this everyone is different and everyone is visual. Whether you choose to go deeper that's up to you. Someone like that may be insecure or simply like the way they look and it's gonna attract or deter the opposite sex. But what can you do?
